Noho Art Wallz is a program designed to create an opportunity for well deserved
Artists to express themselves in legal wall space benefiting the community, Businesses
and Artists. Founded By Graffiti Artist “Ladie One” and inspired by Espy's K-Town
Wallz Project in Korea Town, Los Angeles, Noho Art Wallz are Targeted to brighten up
the North Hollywood Arts District making more Street Art visible and appreciated, the
way an Arts district should appear.
Businesses also have an opportunity to have an artist create their wall
incorporating their business and therefore creating a commissioned job for the artist as well. It's a great opportunity to keep the street and graffiti artists in a healthy lifestyle by creating legal artwork to be appreciated and accepted by the community. The community is then inspired in many ways how ever the artwork will make them feel
and the area becomes a more positive environment to be apart of.
Children and young adults will look up to art as a positive and healthy outlet way of life. There is evidence that engagement with artistic activities, either as an observer of the creative efforts of others or as an initiator of one's own creative efforts, can enhance one's moods, emotions, and other psychological states including stress. The connection between Art, Healing, and Public Health is one of many beneficial products to this visual therapy program for us all.
